Bethany House Emergency Shelter

The Story of Bethany House

Bethany House opened in 1986 and can house up to 32 women and children at any given time. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide shelter, case management, three meals a day, laundry facilities and supportive services.

In 2016 Bethany House provided residential services to 233 unduplicated individuals who received 9,198 nights of shelter. Shelter participants received 1,456 hours of case management services and 12,593 on-site meals. In FY’16 non-residential services were also provided to 431 individuals by providing 5,845 nights of shelter at local motels utilizing DHHR vouchers.
